Dr. Dau is proud to be certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a firm believer that continuing education is an integral part of staying up to date with orthodontic research and advancements in the field. By constantly seeking out new information and strengthening his skills, Dr. Dau is able to deliver orthodontic care at the highest standards and achieve clinical excellence for his patients.
A native of Vietnam, Dr. Dau and his family immigrated to the U.S. in 1985, and he has called Tampa his home for more than 20 years. When not working, Dr. Dau might be golfing, snowboarding, or relaxing on the beach. He’s a passionate traveler, and enjoys new cultures and experiences.
Dr. Dau believes in supporting the community and is a member of Rotary International. He has been involved with projects such as Cycling for Vets and the Fisher House at the Tampa VA Medical Center to support military veterans. Dr. Dau has also participated in various missionary trips to Haiti to provide dental care to local villagers.
We loved Dr Dau Orthodontics for both of our kids. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they were always flexible with appointments. Dr Dau is good with kids and had reasonable prices. His treatment plans also tended to be more moderate. He used a “watch-and-see” approach for one of my kids and a more preventative approach for the other. Overall, we had a great experience.
Appt at 9:30, was out before 10, great office, very efficient, friendly atmosphere and professional. Couldn’t ask for better. I have been going to Dr Dau for exactly one year now, my treatment (Invisalign) is almost over. I am very happy with my results, his office staff is very professional, friendly & knowledgeable. I had a great experience at Dau Orthodontics. Dr. Steven Dau does thorough, detailed excellent work!. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The office was always clean and welcoming, and they took the time to explain every step of my treatment. I’m very happy with my results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for orthodontic care.
I’m currently in the middle of my Invisalign course and this is so much better than when I had braces in high school. Dr. Dau, his technicians, and practice are all an extremely well oiled machine. The open office concept allows for efficiency and my appointments have all been quick and easy! The payment plan is totally reasonable. I’m already seeing the results I had hoped for. Dr. Dau himself is personable and professional and really good at what he does. Hopefully I won’t need orthodontics again, but if I do, I know where I’d come.
