What is Smile Express®?
Smile Express® is our orthodontist-guided aligner treatment that uses Invisalign aligners to achieve a straighter smile in as little as six months. It offers the convenience of at-home care with minimal in-office visits and costs about half the price of traditional comprehensive treatment. Each plan includes a custom kit delivered to your door, ensuring a safe and professional transformation under the supervision of Dr. Dau.
Do you treat adults?
Yes, we provide several specialized options for adults, including discreet Invisalign® clear aligners, Damon® Braces, and our convenient Smile Express® program for cosmetic adjustments.
At what age should I bring my child for a consultation?
Following the American Association of Orthodontists' recommendation, we suggest children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age 7 to monitor jaw growth and the eruption of permanent teeth.
Does getting braces hurt?
It's normal for your teeth and mouth to feel a little tender or sore when you first get braces, but this is temporary. You can relieve discomfort by rinsing with lukewarm saltwater or taking over-the-counter pain relievers, and using orthodontic wax can help protect your lips and cheeks from irritation as they adjust.

We loved Dr Dau Orthodontics for both of our kids. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they were always flexible with appointments. Dr Dau is good with kids and had reasonable prices. His treatment plans also tended to be more moderate. He used a “watch-and-see” approach for one of my kids and a more preventative approach for the other. Overall, we had a great experience.
Appt at 9:30, was out before 10, great office, very efficient, friendly atmosphere and professional. Couldn’t ask for better.
